The Hackberry Mustangs are once again District 5-C Baseball Champions after a clean 6-0 sweep through the District.

The Mustangs beat Singer 11-1 and 9-2, they also beat Starks 5-0 and 4-1, and lastly sweeping parish rival South Cameron 19-3 and 12-2.

The Mustangs still have some work to do as they are aiming to enter the Class C playoffs as a top four seed and of course they hope to eventually punch their ticket to McMurray Park in Sulphur for the first time in program history.
