Justin “Tooty” Joseph Picou, Jr. born Dec. 31, 1948 — died Wednesday, Apr. 1, 2026 at age 77 in Abbeville.

A memorial service, officiated by Deacon William Vincent was held at Vincent Funeral Home on Saturday, Apr. 4, at 12 p.m., honoring his life.

Justin had a deep love for life on the water, spending many years working for Broussard Brothers as a commercial fisherman. He also found great pleasure in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debbie Ashworth Picou; daughter, Crystal Picou Alexander; son, Kevin Warner (Recia), brother, Terry Picou (Kay), stepdaughter, Kelly Landry; grandchildren, Molly Boudreaux (Jake), John Warner, Brett Landry, Bailey Landry, and Blake Landry; great-grandchildren, Mason Boudreaux, Arlee Boudreaux, Mateo Landry, Truce Landry, and Sterling Warner; and his special niece, Angie Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin J. Picou, Sr. and Catherine Crochet Picou; son, Jeremy Picou; sisters, Sharlene Racca and Evelyn Boudreaux; and brothers, Wayne Picou and Daniel Picou.

The family received friends on Saturday, Apr. 4, from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 S. St. Charles St., Abbeville.

All funeral arrangements were conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville.
