Matthew Kaine Styron, 34, died on Monday Oct. 18, 2021.

He was born in Lake Charles. He was a native of Lake Charles and a lifelong resident of Creole. He graduated from South Cameron High School Class of 2006. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Creole and was employed by TIC/Kiewit as a Material Coordinator.

He is survived by his parents Karl and Jamie Styron of Creole; son Carter Styron of Lake Charles; brother Cody Styron of Lake Charles.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jody Styron.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 22, at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles led by Rev. Jerish George, M.O.C. Burial followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Creole.
