Marjorie “Margie” Ford, 92, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born in Hackberry.

She was raised in Hackberry and resided in Lake Charles for many years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Lake Charles.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Barrett and Stephen Ford; two grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lucy Duhon.

Funeral service was held Saturday, July 24, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Deacon Patrick LaPoint officiated. Interment was in Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss.
