Madeline “Maddie” Ann Savoie, 73, of Lake Charles died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022.

She was born in New Orleans. She lived a while in Baton Rouge as a child and moved to Creole. She attended college at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, in Lafayette.

She is survived by her husband, James Savoie; daughter Candice Menard of Lake Charles; sister, Celeste Garvey-Petsch of Austin, Texas; and one grandson.

She was preceded by her parents, Kenneth and Carol (Giannetto) Hopper.

A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 11, led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Barilleaux.
