GRAVITY DRAINAGE
DISTRICT NO 4
February 1, 2023
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 held a regular meeting at Grand Lake Water Works District #11 Office, 111 Dennis Lane, Bell City, Louisiana 70630, at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. This meeting will serve as January 25, 2023 meeting was canceled due to no quorum.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shane Broussard.
Board members present for the meeting were: Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, and Todd Morales.
Board members absent were Dan Nunez and Mike Semien.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the minutes of the Monday, December 19, 2022, meeting were approved.
Mr. Cassidy LeJeune with Ducks Unlimited was present and gave a detailed update on the Creole Marsh III Project. (Boyd Allen Nunez Structure).
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board approved the Cameron Parish Police Jury to prepare and advertise for bids to collect and remove for final disposal of the debris on drainage laterals.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board approved to enter into a Cooperate Endeavor Agreement with Gravity Drainage District No. 3 in reference to the North Cameron Flood Protection Levee Project. This information was provided to the Board by Mr. Rusty Welch.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the financial report was approved.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the following bills were approved for payment.
1. Jeff Davis Electric $40.62
2. Seabreeze Culverts $925.00
3. United Rentals $318.00
4. Cameron Parish Police Jury $912.26
5. Cameron Pilot $198.00
There being no further business, on motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
