?PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on Monday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m. Members present by roll call were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Kent Carlson, Ms. Bobbie Trahan, Mr. Nathan Griffith, and Mr. Mark Young. Members absent were none. Employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, Jeff Landry, and Aaron Jinks. Guest attending were none.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Mrs. Connie Trahan.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
It was moved by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried to accept the January minutes as read.
Fema is still in the EHP review process on the approval of the relocation project for the Holly Beach water tower rebuild.
The generator refurbish project is complete.
The annual ground storage tank washouts will begin in March.
The advertisement to accept bids on the 3 old generator trailers and the purchase of a new work truck will be published in the Cameron Pilot with bids being opened at the March meeting.
Evaluations and cost of living raises were discussed. Mrs. Trahan made a motion to give employee’s Carl Trahan, Jeffrey Landry, and Rhonda Morrison an 8% cost of living raise. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Mr. Young and carried.
Mrs. Trahan made a motion to give Aaron Jinks an 8% cost of living raise. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried. Mr. Young abstained from voting.
The Superintendent position was discussed and offered to employee Carl Trahan. It was moved by Mr. Young to give Carl Trahan an additional $1.50 per hour for the Superintendent position and responsibilities. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried by all.
It was moved by Mr. Carlson, seconded by Mrs. Bobbie Trahan, and carried to approve the bank statements and monthly financial statement.
It was moved by Mr. Carlson seconded by Mrs. Trahan and carried to approve the bills as paid.
