GRAVITY DRAINAGE
DISTRICT NO 4
December 15, 2021
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 held a regular meeting at Grand Lake Water Works District #11 Office, 111 Dennis Lane, Bell City, Louisiana 70630, at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Board members present for the meeting were: Leslie Griffith, Todd Morales, Dan Nunez
Board members absent for the meeting was: Mike Semien and Shane Broussard
The meeting was called to order by Co-Chairman Dan Nunez.
Present for the Public Comment Period were Leonard Harper and Bryon Richard of Lonnie Harper and Associates. They presented the Board with a presentation outlining the damage assessment and volume of debris they had evaluated throughout the drainage laterals. On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the Board accepted the assessment.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the minutes of the Wednesday, November 17, 2021 meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the financial report was approved.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the Board amended the 2021 Budget.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the Board accepted the Proposed 2022 Budget.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the following bills were approved for payment.
1. Cameron Parish Police Jury – $1,277.88 ( Insurance)
2. Jeff Davis Electric Co-Op – $37.95 (Kings Bayou Structure Electricity)
3. Marshland Equipment Rentals – $17,500.00 (Cleaning of drainage at structure located on Highway 27/82 North of Little Chenier Road.)
There being no further business, on motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
