Linda Faye Scott died on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at the age of 73.

She was born in Jennings and graduated from Jennings High School in the Class of ’65.

She is survived by her three sons, Troy Lambert (Sayre) Scott I of Iota, Todd Lucas (Gail) Scott of Gueydan, and Toby Lyle (Kristi) Scott of Klondike; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brothers, Robert “Rug” Gary of Jennings and Thomas “Tom” Gary Sr. of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odelion J. Gary and Rhia Thibodeaux Gary; one sister; one brother; and two infant siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jennings on Saturday, Jan. 16. Burial followed in Lopez Cemetery under the direction of Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings.
