Leslie Delaroderie-Clark, 67, of Cameron passed away in Welsh Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 just three days shy of her 68th birthday.
Leslie was born Dec. 9, 1953 in Baton Rouge to Betsy (Payne) Delaroderie Fulgham. Some of her fondest memories were of her childhood home in Baton Rouge and at Camp Marydale where she was a long-time member of a girl scout troop. She attended Baton Rouge High School, while there she met Robert Andrews and the pair graduated in 1971; Together they attended Louisiana State University. She spent many years there as student as well as an employee; working in the Departments of Athletics and Psychiatry. She and Robert married in 1974 and had two children, Stephanie and Matthew.
Later, Leslie found her way to Texas where she met Garry Tucker – the two wed in 1982 in Lubbock and had two children, Nathan and Lindsay. There after, many of her years were spent owning and operating a motel in Creole with 3rd husband, Cecil whom she married in 2000 the pair spent 21 years of marriage together until her passing. She was a lover of Stephen King novels, literature, art, her dog, Duster, The Beatles, irises and periwinkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Becky Hebert; and brother, John Michael Delaroderie.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Clark III; four children, Stephanie Andrews (Matthew) Matthew Andrews, Nathan Tucker (Toni) and Lindsay Shadden (Justin); brother, Rad Delaroderie; four grandchildren, Ashlynne Robinson, Christopher Pointer, Addilynn and Hollie Shadden and one great-grandchild, Atlas Robinson.
