The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the northbound lane of LA 27 at Gibbstown Bridge (Milepost 14) will be closed until Friday, Sept. 13.

Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. Flaggers will maintain traffic in both directions while the closures are in effect.

A 16-foot width restriction will be in place during the closure.

The closure is necessary for crews to conduct bridge repair work.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
