The Lady Hornets took on an old district foe in the Oberlin Lady Tigers who which they will see next season in district as Grand Lake is dropping back down to Class 1A at the conclusion of the school year next month.

The Lady Hornets and Lady Tigers were scoreless until the bottom of the 3rd when Grand Lake scored 6 runs and never looked back!

Alaina Beard went 1-3 with an RBI, Hannah Thevis went 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Ada Sims went 2-4 with 3 RBI’s, Kloey Granger went 1-2 with 2 RBIs, Emmalea Daigle went 1-4 with an RBI, Falynn Foreman went 1-4 with an RBI, and Maddie Trahan went 2-4 with 2 RBIs.

The Lady Hornets were on the road in the second round at Oakdale on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
