The Cameron Parish Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. in the Wastewater District office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.
Guest:
The meeting was called to order by the Secretary, along with roll call. The voluntary Prayer was led by Vickie Conner. The Pledge was led by Ruben Doxey.
Roll Call: Present: Vickie Conner, Anthony Theriot and Ruben Doxey.
Absent: none
There were no public comments.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, to adopt the agenda for June 23, 2026, Wastewater board meeting.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve and dispense from reading the regular session May minutes.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve the financial statement, including the Actual vs Budget, for the month of May 2026.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, to pay the monthly bills.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, to accept the resignation of Ruben Doxey as of June 24, 2026.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, to rescind the contract with DEF Rentals, LLC to allow to dump sewage sludge.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to hire a Wastewater Operator.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
