Julia Mae Dozier died Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, in Lake Charles.

She was born in Grand Chenier.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Delores) Dozier of Lake Charles, and Renaldo (Felicia) Anderson of Iowa.

She was preceded by her parents, Albert and Ellen Dozier; two brothers; and two sisters.

A funeral service was held at the Chapel of Peace at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A graveside service followed at Highland Memorial Gardens in Lake Charles.
