MINUTES OF MEETING
April 19, 2022
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Peggy Griffith, Vickie Kiffe, Tina Payne, and Susan Boudreaux
Absent: None
Guest: Monty Pearce & Wendy Harrington
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
The meeting was called to order by Peggy Griffith as well as roll call. Peggy Griffith also led the Pledge and the voluntary Prayer.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Tina Payne and carried, the minutes for March 15, 2022, regular session meeting were approved.
On a motion by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Susan Boudreaux and carried, that all December 2021 as well as January, February & March 2022 bills be paid.
Discussions made but not finalized are:
– Raking the beach – Decided to wait to see how the new rocks, laid out, will help or not with the incoming seaweed.
– Discussed adding a water faucet/hose bib, with a lock & key, to have water available for those renting the pavilion. This addition is planned to be incorporated with the start of the new construction of the pavilion.
– Discussed the construction & ordering of two shower valves along with two shower heads and all materials needed to construct the two showers on the East & West ends of the pavilion.
– Discussed getting safety signs made, concerning the jetty rock incidents that have taken place lately.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Susan Boudreaux and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
