MINUTES OF MEETING
March 15, 2022
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Peggy Griffith, Vickie Kiffe, Tina Payne, and Susan Boudreaux
Absent: None
Guest: None
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
The meeting was called to order by Vickie Kiffe as well as roll call. Tina Payne led the Pledge and the voluntary Prayer was led by Kim Murphy.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith and carried, that the minutes for the November 2021 regular session meeting were approved.
On a motion by Peggy Griffith, seconded by Tina Payne and carried, that all December 2021 as well as January, February & March 2022 bills be paid.
On a motion by Susan Boudreaux, seconded by Kim Murphy and carried, that the Community Service Program be allowed to take place on Rutherford Beach through the 38th Judicial System.
Discussions made but not finalized are:
-Finding out what rights the Board members have, pertaining to RV’s or any other vehicles/ATVs left abandoned on Rutherford Beach.
-Constructing a handicap parking section with a slab.
-Tina Payne – working up a draft for the new construction of a 20 x 60 Pavilion, getting quotes, & with Road & Bridge for help.
-Designation of distributing the trash bags to the dispenser.
-Pavilion rental will be the same agreement as the one drawn up in 2020.
On a motion by Susan Boudreaux, seconded by Tina Payne and carried, to have a meeting on April 19th, 2022, even though April was not adopted at the November 2021 meeting.
On a motion by Susan Boudreaux, seconded by Peggy Griffith and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
