MINUTES OF MEETING
MAY 18, 2023
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 126 Ann Street Cameron, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Tina Payne, Vickie Kiffe, Peggy Griffith, and Susan Boudreaux
Absent: None
Guest: None
Public Comments: There were no Public Comments
The meeting was called to order by Vickie Kiffe as well as the roll call. The Pledge was led by Peggy Griffith and the voluntary Prayer was led by Susan Boudreaux.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Peggy Griffith, and carried, the minutes for the March 2023, regular session meeting were approved and dispensed from reading aloud.
On a motion by Tina Payne, seconded by Susan Boudreaux, and carried, that the bills for May 2023 are to be paid.
The board decided and agreed, to set up trash dispensers for Broussard Beach as already in place at Rutherford Beach.
DISCUSSIONS MADE BUT NOT FINALIZED
Installing an anti-theft device to keep people from leaving the faucet open and from physically re-routing the plumbing lines to meet their needs of filling up their RV water tank.
COMPLETED PROJECTS:
Three Rip-tide signs are installed on Rutherford. No word yet for the one on Broussard Beach
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Susan Boudreaux and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
