Cameron Parish Waterworks
District No. 10
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in Regular session on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. via teleconferencing meeting the quorum requirements per La. R. S. 42:19 during the COVID-19 health emergency.
Members present were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Nathan Griffith, Mr. Jim Snyder and Mr. Wesley Roberts.
Member absent was Mr. Kent Carlson.
Guests attending were Rhonda Morrison, Jeff Landry and Carl Trahan.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The prayer was led by Mrs. Trahan. The pledge was said by all present.
It was moved by Mr. Roberts and seconded by Mrs. Trahan and carried to accept the minutes as read.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
The Treatment Facility south storage tank project was discussed. The storage tank is complete and running fine.
Back up water pressure for Hackberry Waterworks #2 was discussed. If Waterworks District #2 needs to utilize WW #10’s system to maintain pressure while their elevated tower is down for cleaning, the fee will be .85 per thousand gallons.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder, seconded by Mr. Roberts and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mrs. Trahan and carried to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 p.m.
