BEACHFRONT DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT #2
MAY 26TH 2020
A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Cameron Parish Beachfront Development Dist. No. 2 at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 184 East Creole Highway, Creole, Louisiana.
Board members present were: Kim Murphy, Johnny Pruitt and Peggy Griffith
Absent: JoAnn Nunez and Becky Hebert
Guests: Scott Trahan, Juror, Jennifer Jones, D.A., Cyndi Sellers and M & M Bobby Miller.
The meeting was called to order by Jennifer Jones, the pledge was led by Kim Murphy as well as the voluntary prayer.
Public Comments: Discussion by Mrs. Cyndi Sellers about adding speed limit signs along the West side of Rutherford Beach ending at Broussard Beach.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded by Johnny Pruitt and carried, that the minutes of the November 26, 2019 regular session meeting were approved.
On a motion by Kim Murphy, seconded for Peggy Griffith and carried, that all outstanding bills be paid.
The rock laying project should start June 1st. The project was delayed due to additional surveys needed and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
It was discussed to rent out the pavilion and add electricity with the Cameron Parish Police Jury handling all future rentals and documentation. Tabled until June meeting.
On a motion by Peggy Griffith, seconded by Johnny Pruitt and carried, that there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
