PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in Regular session on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. Members present were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Wesley Roberts, Mr. Jim Snyder and Mr. Nathan Griffith. Members absent were Mr. Kent Carlson. Guest attending were Jeffrey Landry, Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, and Barry Hunt.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The prayer was led by Mrs. Trahan. The pledge was said by all present.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder and seconded by Mr. Roberts and carried to accept the minutes as read.
Barry Hunt commended the Board of Directors and employees on a job well done after the Hurricanes. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the employees going above and beyond, being professional and completing jobs in a timely manner.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder to adopt the 2021 Millage of 4.16. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Mr. Roberts and unanimously carried.
It was moved by Mr. Roberts to authorize the Presidents signature on the Cameron LNG annual lease agreement. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Mr. Snyder and carried.
Hurricane Laura and Delta repairs were discussed. The Holly Beach water tower rebuild was discussed and Rhonda presented a progress report from C. H. Fenstermaker and Associates, LLC.
It was moved by Mr. Roberts to run ads for full time Operator position. No public comment was made. The motion was seconded by Mr. Snyder and carried.
It was moved by Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mr. Snyder and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mrs. Trahan and carried to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m.
