DIVISION 1: Consolidated Fire Protections of South Cameron; There is hereby created, “Consolidated Fire Protections of South Cameron,” in Cameron Parish, Louisiana and as so created shall constitute fire protection district. Sec. 20-2. – Governing Body. • There being no incorporated municipalities within the boundaries of such district, the Cameron Parish Police Jury does hereby create a board of commissioners to serve as the governing body of the Consolidated Fire Protections District of South Cameron. The board of commissioners shall consist of five (5) members to be appointed by the Cameron Parish Police Jury as provided by R.S. 40:1496. Sec. 20-4. – Corporate Seal. • The corporate seal of the parish police jury shall be the corporate seal of the Consolidated Fire Protections District of South Cameron and the official journal of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, shall be the official journal of Consolidated Fire Protections District of South Cameron. Sec. 20-5. – Authority; duties. • The Consolidated Fire Protections District of South Cameron shall have all authorities and duties as provided by R.S. 40:1491 through 1501 and as well as those provided by the Constitution and other laws of the state, and also all such powers and duties as may be designated to such district generally by the state. Authority to Amend Chapter 20 Article I Fire Protections – (As listed in Item 15)
Authority to Procure an Engineering Firm for the CDBG – Mitigation Program Mermentau Basin Inundation Relief Project and authorize President to negotiate and sign all necessary contracts and documents related to this project
Approve 2018-72 Kings Bayou WCS – Phase II Change Order No. 1 – M&C Oilfield Construction – Increase contract time for 30 additional days due to rain delays
