DISTRICT NO 4
APRIL 21, 2021
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 held a regular meeting at the Grand Lake Water Works Office at 111 Dennis Lane, Sweet lake, Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. on April 21, 2021.
PRESENT: Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, Todd Morales, Dan Nunez
ABSENT: Mike Semien
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shane Broussard.
Kara Bonsall of Cameron Parish Police Jury with FEMA Representative, Bryon Richard with Lonnie Harper & Associates and Cassidy LeJeune and Aaron Pearce were present for the public comment period. The Board and others present discussed the status of Lonnie Harper and Associates evaluating the laterals and possible FEMA funding for cleanup and maintenance on water control structures.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the minutes of the Wednesday, March 17, 2021 meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Morales, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board approved the extension of Lateral “H” by Lonnie Harper and Associates.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the Board agreed to adopt the 2021 millage rate at the current rate of 3.680 mills.
YEAS: 4; NAYS: 0; ABSENT: 1
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the financial report was approved.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the following bills were approved for payment.
Lonnie Harper and Associates $20,048.49
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the following Permits were approved: Permit #210104 – TransCanada Pipeline LLC and Permit #210304 – Roy Bailey Construction, Inc.
There being no further business, on motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
