Grand Lake FBLA conducting fundraiser for nationals

Grand Lake High School FBLA students competed against other students across the state at State Conference held in Lafayette with an astonishing win.

Luke Arabie, Noah Guidry, and Kennedy Lebleu – Business Ethics Team – 1st place

Barrett Rosteet – Accounting I – 9th place

Hunter McCain – Agribusiness – 2nd place

Luke Arabie – Business Law – 1st place

Macey Coronado – Health Care Administration – 8th place

John Davidson, Creighton Duncan, and Danon Pruitt – Marketing Team – 4th place

Students will now compete against other students across the United States at their National Conference held in Chicago, Ill. on June 27-July 3.

In order to offset the cost, the students are conducting several fundraisers. Please support GLHS FBLA and their effort.

The fundraisers are as follow:

Sponsorship – Gold Member – $2,000 and above – Individual permanent wall plaque – engraved with sponsor’s logo and name to be wall mounted in the Business Department. An appreciation plaque to the sponsor from GLHS to be displayed at business.

Silver Member – Below $1,999-$1,000 – Individual permanent wall banner with sponsor’s logo and name to be displayed in the Business Department. An appreciation plaque to the sponsor from GLHS to be displayed at business.

Bronze Member – Below $1,000 – All sponsors listed on one permanent banner to be displayed in Business Department. An appreciation plaque to the sponsor from GLHS to be displayed at business.
Students are currently doing a calendar donation using the months of April, May, and June. Simply pick a day on the calendar and that’s the amount to donate.

World’s Finest Chocolate candy sales will begin Monday, Apr. 25.
