The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that ferry service in Cameron Parish will resume normal 24/7 operation at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12.

As reminder, any vehicle combinations longer than 50 feet will be required to detour and may use I-10. The boat launch on the west side of the Calcasieu River, adjacent to the ferry landing, will be closed to ensure safety while the M/V Acadia is in service.
