CPAD2 met on October 27, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the CPAD 2 Office at 979 Main St. Hackberry, La. 70645
Members Present: Kattie Toups, Randall McFatter, Phyllis Doxey, Gwen Constance and Ronald Doucett
Members Absent: Calise Romero
Guest: Darla Perry, Rhonda Coleman, Troy Meaux
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Pledge led by Mrs. Constance
Prayer led by Mrs. Constance
Members approved the July 15, 2020 board minutes with a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Toups and carried unopposed.
There were no public comments.
Old Business:
1. None
New Business:
1. Mrs. Perry gave the payroll/bills and budget to actual reports and with a Motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Toups to approve the reports as given and carried.
2. 2021 Budget was reviewed and approved with a motion by Mrs. Constance and a 2nd by Mrs. Doxey and carried.
3. Mrs. Coleman presented the 2021 COLA to the board and requested that the COLA of 1.5 goes into effect on Jan. 1st 2021. Mr. McFatter made a motion to give employees a COLA of 1.5% increase on 1/1/2021 and Mrs Constance made a 2nd and the motion carried unopposed.
4. The Board was presented with the BCBS Renewal with a 4.5 % increase and with a motion by Mr. McFatter and 2nd by Mrs. Toups and carried to renew 12/1/2020.
5. Mrs. Coleman presented a Declaration Purchase Policy due to the extreme emergency of the parish due to Hurricanes Laura and Delta with a motion by Mrs. Doxey and a 2nd by Mrs. Toups and carried to adopt and approve the policy.
6. Mrs. Coleman gave the directors report of ambulance runs, transport billing and insurance funds for all stations. With a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd Mrs. Doxey and carried to accept the directors report.
7. Mrs. Constance made a motion to adjourn and Mrs. Doxey made a 2nd and it carried meeting adjourned.
