Early voting begins March 6

The Cameron Registrar of Voters Office provided this Mar. 20, Election information:

Early Voting Dates

Early voting is Mar. 6-13 (excluding Sunday, Mar. 7) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Grand Lake Library, located at 10200 Gulf Hwy., Grand Lake.

Registrar of Voters office, 148 Smith Circle, in Cameron will be opened from 8:30-6 p.m. Mar. 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13. They will be opened for 6 days and will be closed in Cameron on Friday and Sunday.

Hackberry Community Center, located on 980 Main St. will be opened one day – Friday, Mar. 12, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee by mail ballot is Mar. 16 by 4:30 p.m.
You may request an absentee by mail ballot online through www.geauxvote.com or in writing through the Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).

The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted mail ballot is Mar. 19, by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

The Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters office is located at 148 Smith Circle in Cameron. They also have a temporary location at Grand Lake Library, 10200 Gulf Hwy. in Grand Lake.
