The 2024-25 Cameron Parish Early Childhood Education registration will be held Monday through Wednesday, Mar. 18-20 for 3-year-olds – Head Start and South Cameron Early Learning Center; and Pre-Kindergarten – Public Schools and Head Start.

Hackberry High School High School, Monday, Mar. 18, 10 a.m.-12 noon.

Grand Lake Elementary School, Monday, Mar. 18, 4-6 p.m.

South Cameron High School, Tuesday, Mar. 19, 10 a.m.-12 noon.

Johnson Bayou High School, Wednesday, Mar. 20, 10 a.m.-12 noon.

Enrollment Guidelines are given here:

3-Year-Olds: Must be 3 years old on/or before Sept. 30, 2024 for Head Start; Must be 3 years old during the 2024-25 school year at South Cameron Early Learning Center;

Pre-Kindergarten: Must be 4 years old on/or before Sept. 30, 2024;

Enrollment Documentation Required: Child’s Birth Certificate; Parent/Guardian Driver’s License, Income Verification (2 consecutive check stubs for all parents/guardians in household, irregular employment form, no employment form); Up to Date Shot Record; Certified Court Orders of Legal Documentation of Guardianship (if applicable); Proof of Residence (minimum of two documents); IEP or Early Steps Documentation (if applicable); Official Medical or Psychological documentation (if applicable).

*Income Verification and Proof of Residence are not required for South Cameron Early Learning Center.
