Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters has provided this election information for the March 23, 2024 Presidential Preference Primary/Municipal Primary:

The deadline to register to vote in person, by mail or at the OMV Office is Feb. 21.

The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System is Mar. 2.

Early voting is Mar. 9-16 (excluding Sunday, March 10) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m at the Cameron Parish Registrar of Voters Office

Grand Lake Library early voting will be four days (Mar. 9, 11, 12, and 13 (excluding Sunday) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Hackberry Community Center will be (1 Day) Friday. Mar. 15, from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Mar. 19, by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through: voterportal.sos.la.gov or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.

The deadline for Registrar of Voters Office to receive a voted absentee ballot is Mar. 22, by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
