(Editor’s Note–Darrell Ross Williams, Cameron Parish Assessor Elect, longtime Police Jury employee, public servant and 1981 graduate of South Cameron High School passed away Monday at the age of 57.)

Williams of Lake Charles passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 in a New Orleans hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Grand Lake High School gym under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Interment services will follow in Sweetlake – Grand Lake Cemetery. Visitation Saturday will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the gym.
