The Cameron Parish Port Harbor & Terminal District met in regular session on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Port Board Building, Cameron, Louisiana at 5:00 o’clock PM.
Present: Howard Romero, Tremayne Picou, Sheila Miller, Kevin Vincent, Dwight Savoie, Brent Morales
Absent: Jimmy Brown, Nina Jones, Nathan Griffith, Thomas Cox, Alfred Devall
Guests: None.
Parish Agencies: Kim Montie, Port Director, Tianna Dunaway, Asst. Port Director
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Howard Romero.
Tremayne Picou led the Pledge of Allegiance and Dwight Savoie gave the invocation. There was no public comment.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Picou and carried the board approved the March 28, 2023 regular meeting minutes.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller seconded by Mr. Picou and carried the board approved the treasurer’s report.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Picou and carried the board approved payment of the April 2023 bills.
The Board reviewed the actuals and the budget.
Under correspondence the board reviewed a public records request from Shreyas Vasudevan with Louisiana Bucket Brigade, Lucy’s Landholding’s property appraisal and the Southland Environmental phase I environmental study for the Lucy’s Landholding’s property.
Under reports from commissioners, Tremayne Picou reported the need for another fuel dock.
There was no old business.
Under new business the board discussed the confidentiality agreement with Advisian and the Advisian Master Planning Scoping/Estimates.

Mrs. Kim Montie gave a staff report. She updated the board on Venture Global’s FTZ application. She also informed the board about several meetings she has attended, the AOC Workshop which was held at the port office as well as what phase we are in regarding the AOC Park.
The next regular meeting will be scheduled for May 30, 2023, at 5 PM at the Cameron Parish Port Building.
There being no further business and upon motion of Mr. Picou seconded by Mrs. Miller and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
