A Food Drive for the elderly will be held through Nov. 17. Help donate to those in need in Cameron Parish.

Food needed include: water, juice, pasta, rice, canned sauces and soups, hot/cold cereal, beans, canned vegetables/fruits and meats, snacks, powdered milk, non-perishable food items, etc. All items collected will be given to the Cameron Council on Aging for distribution.

Items may be dropped off at the Sheriff’s office in Cameron, the Sheriff’s sub-stations in Hackberry, Johnson Bayou and Sweet Lake. For more information call 337-775-5111.
