Cohen is Commonwealth LNG’s Chief Financial Officer

Commonwealth LNG, announced that energy industry veteran Lisa Cummins Cohen is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer.

Cohen brings a proven record of successfully leading and closing multi-billion-dollar project financing for LNG facilities, previously having worked at Cheniere Energy and Mexico Pacific Limited. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Summit Carbon Solutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Commonwealth, backed by alternative asset manager Kimmeridge, is in the advanced stages of developing a 9.5 million tonnes per annum LNG export facility in Cameron.

Commonwealth President and CEO Farhad Ahrabi noted, “Lisa is well respected in the banking community. Her experience will be key as we launch the financing process for our current project.”

In a related move, former Commonwealth CFO Nick Eusepi remains with the company in the role of Senior Vice President of Accounting and Administration. Eusepi has been with Commonwealth for seven years and has been instrumental as the company progressed its LNG project from early concept to its current stage.

Commonwealth anticipates reaching FID in the second quarter of 2025 with commercial operation to commence in early 2029.
