Carmen Carrizoza Benoit, 91 of Cameron died on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. She was born on Apr.6, 1931, in Mexico.

She lived most of her life in Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Benoit; and one grandson, Dakota Singleton.

Carmen is survived by her son, George Benoit and wife Lisa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her graveside services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery in Cameron under the direction of Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home.
