Eddie Benoit has been named Assistant Principal at Grand Lake High School.

“Coach Benoit” as most of the students and community know him as, is a lifelong Cameron Parish Educator. He has served as a teacher, coach, asistant principal, and principal at South Cameron High School before moving to the Principal’s position at Cameron Elementary. He then moved to the Central Office as the Child Welfare and Attendance Supervisor.

After retiring for 12 years he has come back to help lead the students at GLHS.
