Oct. 21, 1932 – Nov. 14, 2024

Beatrice Anita Landry, 92, of Cameron, passed away peacefully in Egan surrounded by family on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. Beatrice was born on Oct. 21, 1932 in Port O’Conner, Texas.

Beatrice was a devoted Catholic, member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Cameron, a wonderful homemaker. She loved baking, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jean Landry; her parents, Erasmos Pena and Carlota Ramos Pena.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Luella Graham, Louis Landry (Leta), and Lawrence Landry; grandchildren, Marcus, Carlota, Amy, Holly, Jerome, Jared, Joby, Brock, and Fallon; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and two on the way; special friends, Dee Dee Guilbeau and Patsy Porche.

Visitation began on Monday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Lilies at J. E. Hixson Funeral Home. A Rosary was held at noon followed by a scripture service beginning at 2 p.m. Reverend Paul D’sa MOC officiated. Burial followed in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Cemetery in Cameron.

Pallbearers were be Hayden Graham, Brycelyn Murphy, Cadin Bertrand, Jerome Landry, Jared Landry, and Joby Landry.

Honorary Pallbearers were Lawrence Landry, Louis Landry, Marcus Graham, Holly Tucker, and Bethany Cormier.
