Audrey Savoie Daigle died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the age of 98.

She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole, and later, after moving to Welsh following Hurricane Ike, she attended Our Lady of Seven Dolores. She worked as a secretary for the Cameron Clerk of Court and as a typist at Charlie Hebert Abstract.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Berton Daigle; parents, Pierre and Eddie May (Murphy) Savoie; and three siblings.

Survivors include her children, Warner Dale Daigle (companion, Mildred Daigle) of Lake Charles; Gerald Wayne “Coe” Daigle (Mary Anne) of Lafayette, and Sandra Daigle Hebert of Metairie; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your charity of choice.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 10, at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery in Creole.

Visitation will begin on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, with a rosary at 12:30 p.m.
