A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, on Monday, June 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
Members Present: Travis LaBove, Bethany Moore, and Travis Welch.
Members Absent: Terry J. Murphy and Desirae Boykin.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Travis LaBove and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Bethany Moore, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Bethany Moore, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Bethany Moore, and carried to select Option A flood insurance coverage with American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida. Hackberry Recreation District maximum coverage on building and $202,000.00 for content with an annual premium of $7,582.00. The Multi-Purpose Facility coverage will be $322,000.00 on building and $111,000.00 for the content with an annual premium of $5,607.00.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Bethany Moore, and carried to adopt the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for the 2021 Financial Review.
