A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Members Present: Travis LaBove, Barry Stine, Travis Welch and Terry J. Murphy.
Member Absent: Bethany Moore.
Guests: Jennifer Jones, and Curtis Fountain.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Terry J. Murphy, and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to accept the minutes as read.
Motion was made by Barry Stine, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove and carried to select flood insurance coverage options with American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida. Hackberry Recreation District (option 1) maximum coverage for the building and $191,500.00 for content with an annual premium of $$6,320.00. The Multi-Purpose Facility (option 2) coverage will be $321,800.00 for the building $110,800.00 for the content with an annual premium of $4,749.00.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Barry Stine, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
