Annie May Bostick, 82, of Lake Charles died at home on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

She was a life long resident of Lake Charles. She was a member of the Loving Hands group at Tom Hebert Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Blue Birds.

She was survived by her sons, Leon Shane Higginbotham and wife Sybil of Many; Rocky Allen Bostick of Grand Lake; daughter, Tammy Ellen Broussard and husband David of Lake Charles; bother, Willis Venable, Jr. of Orange, Texas, five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Venable, Sr. and Alzina Babineaux Venable; husband, Billy Gene “Pop” Bostick; son, Willis James Higginbotham; two brothers; four sisters; and granddaughter, Heidi Broussard.

Funeral services were held at Hixson Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 19. Interment followed at Highland Memory Gardens.
