Qualifying dates for the Nov. 3rd U.S. Senate General/Open U.S. Representative Primary/Open Primary are Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 5-7.

Statewide and parish candidates will be seeking election.

The following is a breakdown of what is slated for the November ballot in Cameron Parish: U. S. Senator; U. S. Representative 3rd Congressional District; Associate Justice Supreme Court, 3rd Supreme Court District; District Judge 38th Judicial District Court; District Attorney 38th Judicial District Court; School Board Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8; Justice of the Peace Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6; and Constable Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Also appearing on the November ballot will be:

Gravity Drainage District No. 5 – 6.21 Mills Renewal – BOC – 10 yrs.
