Cameron Parish athletes received All-SWLA honors

Three baseball players and one softball player earned a spot on the 2025 All-Southwest Louisiana small school’s team.

Grand Lake infielder Rylan Young had a .455 batting average with 38 RBIs. He was also brilliant on the mound with an impressive 8-0 record while recording 55 Ks and a 1.50 ERA.

Also for the Hornets is utility player Law Faulk who had one heck of a Freshman campaign as he batted .484 with 25 RBIs. While on the bump he was 5-0 and a 1.10 ERA.

Lastly for baseball we head across the ship channel to Hackberry as utility player Madden Spicer had a great Freshman season with the Mustangs batting .278 with 21 RBIs while 4-3 on the mound with 60 K’s.

Grand Lake infielder Alaina Bearb is the lone softball player from Cameron Parish to receive these honors as she had a pretty solid Junior campaign with the Lady Hornets batting .352 while scoring 37 runs and stealing 16 bases.

Congratulations to these young athletes!
