Chamber SWLA Business members were invited to attend the annual SWLA Day on Tuesday, May 13, at the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge.

Attendees were able to visit one-on-one with legislators and hear updates from the Chamber’s local delegation and from State officials on legislative issues and what is taking place at this year’s legislative session.

This year’s event sponsors were: Cameron LNG, Cheniere, Sempra Infrastructure, Woodside Energy and Citgo.

Tours and a film were also offered on the State Capitol. Attendees could also visit the House floor.

During the event, attendees heard remarks from Lieutenant Governor, Billy Nungesser, and updates from members of the SWLA Delegation including State Representative, Ryan Bourriaque, and State Senators, Mark Abraham and Jeremy Stine, regarding legislative issues.
