Johnson Bayou Welcome Spring! Event was sponsored by The Cameron Parish Tourist Commission on Saturday, Mar. 5 at the Johnson Bayou Recreation Center.

There were many vendors/booths selling jewelry/clothing as well as informational booths with giveaways including The Cameron Parish Tourist Commission, Cameron Lions Club and Cameron Parish Pilot.

A complimentary jambalaya meal was served. Randy Swopes won a Louisiana/e-Paper Gift Basket given away in a drawing held by Cameron Parish Pilot.

This is the third in a series of events hosted Parish-wide by The Cameron Parish Tourist Commission. The next event will be held Saturday, Mar. 26 at Holly Beach.

The 6th Annual Spring Fling will feature Barry Badon and the Bayou Boys. The Tourist Commission will be serving jambalaya from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will vendors, giveaways, food and music. Interested vendors are to register by calling 409-365-6598.
