Volunteers sought for input on offshore wind energy

Volunteers are being sought to share their thoughts about offshore wind energy on the Gulf coast!

NOAA researchers are developing a survey to gather people’s opinions about offshore wind, and we want to make sure we ask the right questions to capture what Louisianians and Texans really care about. We’re looking for volunteers to participate in a focus group and give us their thoughts! NOAA wants to hear your opinions, values, attitudes, and activities related to offshore wind energy development in your state.

Focus groups will be held from July 30 to Aug. 7 along the Gulf Coast. Sessions will take place during mornings and evenings, and each session will last approximately one hour.

If you’re interested in participating, please email noaa.nccos.sstex@noaa.gov by Friday, July 26 with your contact information and your preferred location and time.
