Timothy Harrison Helms, 59, of Sweet Lake died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 in a local hospital.

He was born in Creole. He was a welding inspector, which took him on various jobs throughout the United States. He was a member of Sweet Lake United Methodist and Masonic Lodge 424.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Helms; sons Trent Helms, Tanner Helms, and Tate Helms; one grandson; parents, John and Debbie LaBove Lafosse; siblings, Sabrah Holland, Cheryl Rowan, and Scott Helms.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edmund Helms.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, Sept. 15 at University Baptist Church in Lake Charles. Rev. Dwayne Daigle officiated. Burial followed at the Sweet Lake/Grand Lake Community Cemetery.
