On Friday, Mar. 10, the Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team will be conducting training at the old Hackberry High School, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

This training will include team members training inside the building as well as on the outside of the building. Team members may be seen in full gear with weapons. The weapons will be rendered safe prior to the training. The weapons will not be able to chamber or fire live rounds.

This release is to notify the general public of the training to alleviate any concern if they are seen.
