South Cameron High School Track Team received two gold medals, five silver medals, and two 6th place awards at the State Meet in Baton Rouge on Thursday, May 4. All SCHS athletes who attended scored points.

South Cameron High’s Chad LaPoint won the Gold medal in the 110 m hurdles. This makes him a three time State Champion.

SCHS 4×100 Relay team got Silver at the State Track meet. Team members are: Brystin Whittinton, Miguel Castilo, Koy McDaniel and Chad LaPoint.
