Lady Hornets cruise past Lake Arthur

The Grand Lake Lady Hornets handled business last week in District 5-2A action on the road at Lake Arthur with a 13-3 run rule victory over the Lady Tigers.

Palynn Fontenot and Baileigh Conner both pitched and combined 5 strikeouts and only giving up 2 hits.

Alaina Beard went 1-2 with an RBI, Falynn Foreman went 2-4 with 3 RBIs, Ada Sims went 1-4 with an RBI, Elizabeth Daigle went 2-4 with 3 RBIs, Palynn Fontenot went 1-4, Baileigh Conner went 1-1 with an RBI, Kloey Granger went 0-2 but scored an RBI, Paisely Boudreaux went 1-3 with an RBI, Zoiee Dugas went 2-5 with an RBI, and Hannah Thevis went 2-5.

Lady Mustangs crush Lady Tarpons

Cameron Parish rivals Hackberry and South Cameron squared off last week in District 4-C action as the Lady Mustangs had full control of this one and never looked back.

Calli Trahan pitched all 4 innings of the run rule affair only giving up 2 hits and recording 6 strikeouts.
Aubre Mire went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Kynlin Moore went 3-4 with an RBI, Calli Trahan went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, Sydni Boudreaux went 1-4, Remi Broussard went 1-3 with an RBI, Kinsley Brown went 1-1, Hadlie Vincent went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Ruby Mullinax went 4-4 with 4 RBIs, and Velle Devall went 3-4 with 7 RBIs.
