Lady Hornets win over Merryville

On Tuesday, Mar. 25, the Grand Lake Lady Hornets traveled to Beauregard Parish to take on the Merryville Lady Panthers in District 4-1A action.

Alaina Beard was 2-3 with an RBI, Ada Sims was 1-4, Elizabeth Daigle was 1-4 with an RBI, Isabella Reyes was 1-3, Adli Sims was 1-3, and Emmalea Daigle was 3-3 with 2 RBI’s.

Alaina Beard pitched all 7 innings and recorded 4 strikeouts.

Lady Mustangs defeat Singer

On Thursday, Mar. 27, the Hackberry Lady Mustangs traveled to rural Beauregard Parish to take on the Singer Lady Hornets in District 5-C action.

Aubre Mire was 2-4, Kynlin Moore was 2-4 with 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Velle Devall was 1-5 with an RBI, Ruby Mullinax was 3-5 with an RBI, Harmony Bodie was 2-5 with 2 RBIs, Calli Trahan was 1-3, Sydni Boudreaux was 4-4, Rylee Spicer was 1-3 an RBI, and Kynzlee Thibodeaux was 1-4 with an RBI.

Calli Trahan pitched all 7 innings and record 5 strikeouts.
