The Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival Skeet Shoot and Duck Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at the Creole Fire Station.
Admission is $10 with a free koozie. Bring your own beverages and snacks as there will be no concessions on site.
Duck Cook-Off entry is $50. The dish must be 75% duck meat and may be cooked on or off site. Dish must be on site by 4 p.m. to be judged. Winner will split the cash pot with the Festival and will receive a trophy and bragging rights.
Schedule
10 a.m. – Trap Shooting, $30 per shoot; Followed by Quail Flush, $30 per team.
1-4 p.m. – Live Entertainment
4 p.m. – Cook-Off Judging begins
5-8 p.m. – Steel Shot
